On Sunday September 16th 2007 just over 100 Lancia's from 1910 to 2007 assembled around the Piazza Covent Garden - to mark both the UK centenary of Lancia and the 60th anniversary of the UK Lancia Motor Club.

The rather jolly looking lady with the hat and chain is Councillor Carolyn Keen, Lord Mayor of Westminster and the gentleman with the red outfit & bell is Peter Moore, London's Town Crier. The magnificent centenary cake which fed 200+ people was kindly made by Amato Pasticceria of Old Compton Street and you can see it being cut by the Lord Mayor, Minister Giovanni Brauzzi from the Italian Embassy and Ayoul Grouvel, European Sales Manager for Lancia Turin.
The oldest car was Ken Prichard Jones's Tipo 55 Corsa from 1910 followed by Roland Grazebrook's 1917 Theta Torpedo. The most recent was a Thesis driven over from Amsterdam by William Galimberti who is seconded to Lancia from his Turin University MBA course.
The Lancia Centenary Committee comprised: David Bieda (chairman), Paul Baker, Anthony Hussey, Colin Marr, Mike Matthews, Daniel Rapacioli, Alan Temple, John Turner, Will How. Observers: Cristina Dunn (City of Westminster Communications Department) and Nicola Gibb (CapCo Covent Garden)
