Goodwood Track Day Saturday 14 March 2009
We have listened to what you said to us in the track day survey last year and are offering you more track time this year. We plan to do this by reducing the total number of cars accepted from 45 to 40 and better organisation of the drivers’ briefings to get more of you out on the track earlier.
The number of track days available to motor clubs is being squeezed year on year by both corporate events and the rise in popularity of specialist track day cars. Once again the club has managed to obtain one of the very rare days available. This scarcity combined with ever stricter health and safety requirements has of course pushed up the Goodwood circuit charges. However with the club making a small subsidy available we can offer 10% more track time per car than last year for a cost of £169. Please note this is the cost for a full day whereas the circuit charge this for a half day at one of their own events. This is outstanding track day value.
Remember there will only be five cars out on the circuit at any one time so short of stumping up £7000 this is as near as you will get to having Goodwood to yourself!
This is also a club social occasion, so even if you do not wish to participate you will be welcome to spectate for free. It is planned for the club regalia stand and a photographer to be present. A lounge will be available throughout the day as will refreshment facilities.

Please send off the entry form quickly (enclosed in this months magazine or downloadable from the club website). To keep administration costs to a minimum this is the only time that the form will be sent out with Viva Lancia!
